Hello! If you’re new to The Striped House, welcome! One of the things I’m most proud of is my knack for achieving the look I’m going for on a budget. This usually means I spend a lot of time surfing the web for stores or online shops that might carry what I’m looking for at a lower price point (if I can’t DIY it). For my living room, I’m considering a long leather couch with a chaise on the left side. If I had my wish, it would be a medium brown and faux leather. The faux leather is a tall order, but that won’t keep me from looking! One thing about leather items like this one is that you always run the risk of getting them dirty. However, if you were to use a leather cleaner and conditioner, this problem should be somewhat easy to eradicate. I want it to look modern, but be really comfortable for two people to veg out on for football Sundays and movie nights.

Now that I’m looking at them all, I like different things about each! I like the taller legs on the first two options. I like the leather best on the last option. I like the shape of the cushions on the expensive version. But I like the taller sides on the first two options. Isn’t it funny how you can make a split decision on some thing in your house, but on others, it can take you forever? Maybe it’s because I’m not meant to have a leather sectional? Maybe it’s supposed be a different material and color?
