Happy New Years Eve everyone!

I love celebrating the New Year.  It’s a fresh start.  An incentive to reach your goals and make your dreams, however big or small, come true.  Fun fact about me:  Futuristic is my #3 strength according to StrengthFinders.  So I’m pretty much always in a state of looking forward, and never taking time to appreciate what I’ve accomplished.  With that being said, I am taking a little trip back through 2016 and look at the big projects I accomplished before I jump into 2017 😉

Guest Bedroom Makeover

This room took six weeks to makeover.  It turned out exactly how I wanted!  You can read the weekly updates here, here, here, here, here and the final results here!

 

Patio Makeover

This project was more about making what I already had look better.  I had the furniture, the green boxwood topiaries, the cafe lights, the white metal basket weave pattern table, and many of the accessories.  So I re-stained, re-painted and cleaned it all.  Turned out pretty good, eh?  Click through to see what it looks like at night!

 

Hallway Door Makeover

This.  THIS!  This is my shining gold star on 2016.  My upstairs hallway looked so depressing before I started on this 6 month long project.  Now when I walk down the hall, it’s beaming!  It’s like the happiest hallway in the history of hallways!  Check out how I created the doors.  

 

Garage Makeover

Oh-da-lolly…  This was a beast of a challenge.  October was such a month of highs and lows.  I published the door makeover project on October 2 (extreme high for sure!), and then all hell broke loose.  I chronicled my garage makeover in case I didn’t survive October (kidding, not kidding).  You can read about it here, here, here, and the final sparkling results here.
